Maya Culture Poster Project



Objective: To demonstrate an understanding of the Culture and Society of the Maya by creating a Teaching poster.



Your Project: Design and create a poster which teaches about the society, culture and achievements of the Ancient Maya.



The project must teach about the following:



1. The upper class.


2. The lower class.

3. The Mayan religion.


4. Mayan Arts.


5. Mayan Architecture.


6. Mayan Science.


7. Mayan Math.


8. Mayan Writing

9. Mayan Oral traditions.



The poster must contain illustrations. The poster must have color and have NO PENCIL.
Your names, date and period must be on the back.



Procedure

:

1. Consult your notes or other resources for information.


2. Determine the design of your poster. Where will the information and Illustrations go?


3. Place all required information onto the poster.


4. Proofread all writing.


5.Place your full names, date, and period on the back of the poster.



Your final project should be neat, creative, and pleasing to the eye. The writing should be accurate and free of errors. Do not use pencil!
