Greek City Travel Poster Project
Athens or Sparta

Objective: To demonstrate an understanding of of either Sparta or Athens by creating a travel poster.

Your Project: Create a travel poster which demonstrates an understanding of the people, government, religion, and culture of either Sparta or Athens. It's purpose is to attract visitors to your city.

Grading will be based on how much information is given, accuracy, and the attractiveness of the poster.
The project must display the following:

1. A title telling what city is being shown.
2. A description of the city and its culture.
3. Information about what and who the visitors will see.
4. Illustrations, symbols, words, and phrases which help to show the culture of the city.
5. Color on the poster. No misspellings. No pencil.

Procedure

1. Consult your textbook or other resources for information.
2. Determine the design of your poster.
3. Place all required information onto the poster.
4.Place your full name, date, and period on the back of the poster.

Your final project should be neat, creative, and pleasing to the eye. The information and writing should be accurate and free of errors. Do not use pencil!
