Confucius Sayings Project

Objective:
To demonstrate an understanding of the philosophy of Confucius by designing a poster showing and explaining a Confucius saying.

In China, there are many sayings attributed to Confucius. The students will be given a list of quotations attributed to Confucius and choose their five favorites. They will then create a paragraph describing what the saying means in their own words and place it on a small card.
The students will then get a piece of cardstock and create a poster.

The Poster must include:
1. The original Confucius saying.
2. The card with the students own description of what the saying means.
3. Color drawings, decorations and images which enhance the meaning of the saying, and have a connection to China.
